This is an authentic vintage classic Hollywood black wiggle dress featuring two black bows at center sides in front, at hips, with black satin vertical stripes from bows down hemline, darting around waist/bust area for the curve hugging classic form fit found in most 50's garments, round neckline, slit in back that is actually folded material to look like a slit, and does not actually open up to show skin, but still gives walking room, and a vintage silver zipper up the back. This dress is in mint condition. Made by Jeanette Alexander of California. Material: Unknown, non-stretch. Size small, but see measurements below for a more accurate fit.

Measurements (lying flat, unstretched, not doubled): bust: 32/34", waist: 12 1/2", hips: 18", length (armpit to hemline): 35".

We all know that Stop Staring! is a fabulous vintage reproduction clothier and one of the best around, and this vintage garment is the original dress those clothing stores mimic their reproductions after. A vintage reproduction by Stop Staring!, Mode Merr, or the like would probably retail close to $150 for this style, but here, at Retro Kitten Apparel, we have the vintage original in mint condition. Our original should probably retail somewhere around $300-$595 (as I've seen at a lot of the vintage stores online whose prices sky rocket), but due to the economy, and our love of giving our customers great deals that they can't find anywhere else, we've decided to keep this gorgeous classic black pinup style wiggle dress at an affordable price, and even less than it's would-be reproduction!
